Your first steps

Start with your learning community.

For educators & tutors

  1. Create your account, then open Groups and choose Create Group.
  2. Give your group a name. Share its group ID with your learners and approve their join requests.
  3. Use Resources to create lessons and assignments, then share them with the group.

For learners

  1. Create your account and ask your educator for their group ID.
  2. Open Groups, choose Join Group, and send a request using that ID.
  3. Once approved, open the group to find shared learning materials and assignments. Use its Grades tab to view your results.

Draw. Explain. Share.

The Smart Digital Canvas is your starting point for a narrated visual lesson. Open Resources, select Tutorials, and choose Create. Draw on the canvas while recording your voice, then submit your recording to create an ASVG file.

ASVG means audio-enabled SVG. Owlyard's patent-pending ASVG technology synchronizes your voice and visuals as lightweight code, giving learners a lesson they can watch and listen to.

From assignment to feedback.

In Resources, select Assignments and choose Create. You can build an assignment yourself or select Create with AI to help draft it. Review the questions before sharing with your learners.

Automatic grading and grade distribution are available today. Open your group's Grades tab to review results. AI features and usage allowances depend on your plan and may change.

Common questions

Can anyone sign up for Owlyard?

Yes. Signups are open to educators and learners. You can start with Basic, which is permanently free, or choose the paid Standard plan.

How do I join my educator’s group?

Ask your educator for the group ID. After signing in, open Groups, choose Join Group, enter the ID, and send your request. Your educator can then approve your access.

Does AI create my visual lessons?

You currently create ASVG lessons yourself in the Smart Digital Canvas by drawing and recording your voice. AI generation of ASVG explainers is in development and is not available yet. AI-assisted assignment creation, automatic grading, grade distribution, and the AI tutor assistant are available today.

Can I get help using Owlyard on mobile?

Yes. For mobile support, email info@owlyard.com with your device, browser, and a description of what you are trying to do. Include any error message so we can help investigate.

Where can I ask about my account or subscription?

Email info@owlyard.com for account and billing questions. Include the email associated with your account and a description of the issue. Please do not send your password or payment card details.
